Hi friends! I’m excited to be participating in the One Room Challenge. Over the next six weeks, twenty Interior Design bloggers will completely transform a room from start to finish, blogging progress updates every Wednesday. The One Room Challenge was started a few years ago by Linda of Calling it Home. It’s a fantastic idea that I am thrilled to be apart of! So here’s the breakdown of my ORC-
Client– My assistant, Janna.
Room– Master Bedroom.
Challenges– Small yet quaint space.
Features– Lots of windows and natural light.
Needs– Updated furniture. Fresh, modern colors. Art. New bedding and accessories.
Below is a peek of what I’m planning to do. It’s going to be a fresh and clean space with lots of artistic details and beautiful textiles. One key element will be a striking, deep, accent wall that will hopefully take our breathes away!
Check back next Wednesday for WEEK TWO’s update! And make sure to check out the other bloggers participating in this challenge, listed below. Also follow along on Instagram using #oneroomchallenge
I’m so excited to see so many bedrooms this morning on the ORC and yet they’re all so different! This is going to be so fun!

You too, Pam!
Thanks, Linda! Can’t wait to get started!
Yes, I agree Julia!
Bedrooms are always good to work on during the ORC! I have bitten off too much in the past which caused some stress! Nothing prettier than a well designed bedroom!
Cannot wait to see it come together. I am sure it will be fabulous with that great plan in place. Let the games begin!
So so excited to see this space come together!!
My mom came here 32 years ago from Honduras and has always been my biggest support! Now that I’m starting my own business she is letting me stay in her tiny apartment near downtown LA and I couldn’t be more grateful for her support and inspiration! Love what you do and how you do it and excited to see Simply Grove thrive and touch the lives of others!
