I personally don’t have a designated office space at home but I know the importance of them. I usually find myself working on my kitchen table, couch and or sofa. I someday would like to have my own office space area with lots of room for storage and filing. What do you need in a work space?

No too much… laptop, coffee, calendar, and a notepad… I can work anywhere!
I go from my real office to home and hop from the sofa to bed to the floor. I need to get my home office in order so I can actually work in it!
I love the desk right at the top! I wish I had a beautiful space to work and sew…my desk is currently squeezed into a corner of the bedroom

I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one…I tend to just bring my laptop wherever…dining table, couch…wherever I’m feeling comfortable!! but i would really love to have a space that’s my office – it’s been in the works for a few months now – just can never seem to find time to actually work on decorating and painting!! thanks for the inspiration
i love the second photo with the two different gray wallpapers and the wonderful pop of yellow.
The second to last picture is awesome, but that chair looks a tad bit uncomfortable!
I love the third picture!

I don’t have a designated work place either. It’s usually the bed or floor for me. In a work office I would need a MASSIVE desk, or loads of floor space. Because I’m an art student I take up loads of space when I’m working! I would need it to be really tidy with loads of shelves to organise things. I would need a massive noticeboard too, or just a plain wall to stick things
Sounds familiar Beth!
Alex, I love that desk too. Its totally clean and modern. I have had my desk in many corners but I get too claustrophobic:)
Piper and Polly, we all do the same thing!!
