We have finally decided to rip out our carpet in a few rooms. Most of the rooms downstairs will be getting new flooring. Yay! The first room to receive new wood floors is our front room. I guess you could call it our sitting room. I want to turn it into a reading/playing/working room for the kids and us. The kids have a playroom upstairs but when mommy and daddy are downstairs, they want nothing to do with upstairs. Anyways, for this room I am ready to embark into white wood floors. I will be sure to share with everyone how I feel about them, positive or negative. I am sure it will be positive! My hubby is going to start installing them tomorrow. Cant wait!

Go for it. The white floors look super. Our play room is upstairs too and is hardly ever used as we all like to be together. I would love more ground floor space instead. Good luck with the revamp.

How exciting… we did this in our bedroom and I love the look. my only problem is they are hard to keep clean.. i’m not sure what the best product is to use… so if you come across anything you like ….let me know.
