Fav-industrial looking fireplace, open ceiling and the wheels on that table-move and have a dance floor!
Least-I wish there was a pop of color…Sometimes I like a room all one tone…but this is too much for me. I’d prob do it w the art, or lamp shades or heck-paint that harth/mantle!
its bright and spacious. love the zebra chair and the house on the stand. it needs some flowers or plants to give it life.
love the way the fireplace is in a nook! snug area. I also love the spaciousness of the entire space with the filtering light.
i agree with Jmae needs on pop of colour! that can be changed out on a whim!

Very cool space, but I don’t feel like the massive space was used well. FAV: Seating area- Very cozy, fireplace, 2 warm cushy facing one another with a rug underneath. WTH is that furniture piece item in front of the right couch? Throw it out! Breaks up the two couches space too much. LEAST: Other than the lack of color, I would have to say the very POOR use of vertical space. There is nothing leading the eye upward – they may as well have low ceilings. Also, why the second dining table? Makes it look like a dorm or a group home or something. OTHER LEAST: Poorly defined/undecorated dining room area. Again, looks like a dorm or group home or something. Nice start, poor finish. This one starts looking lovely but can be picked to pieces.
I love the floors the best. And that little house and the table on the right.
Not too keen on the table with the wheels. Makes the space look too much like a cafeteria or something.
You should say what your fav and least fav elements are! Love to hear it.
I really love the high ceilings and open space and the little windows at the top that let in light but allow privacy.
Really dislike the animal print chair.
First of all the space – the light and airy feeling & those high ceiling. But also, I’m kinda loving those vintage-y dining tables. Least fave? I think I’d say there’s no pop of color – a hint of green or blue – wouldn’t that just make it so much better!
The fireplace is a definite favorite of the room. I also like that the tables are on wheels, easy to rearrange and move around for parties, play time, etc. I like how the cool gray/white/black color scheme, very calming. Also, the 3 picture windows are a fun, unexpected feature.
I really dislike the Zebra chair. It breaks up the monochromatic scheme in a jolting way. Agree about needing pops of color. Perhaps a purple jewel tone chair would be a better choice.
Space, light, high ceilings… space, space, space.. (I’m living in an apartment now… I drool over spaces!… big ones!) A-M xx
Favorite part is the fireplace nook and the yummy white couches and that little house perched on a shelf in the back.
Least fav is the usage of the space. It kind of feels a little too open and cafeteria like.
My favorite is the zebra chair. It is interesting, different and looks comfortable.
I hate the fireplace. It looks dull. bland, and cold. I must be showing my age. I grew up in the 50′s and 60′s and hate mid century modern. It was bad design then. I remember sitting for hours and hours in classes or all day seminars in uncomfortable fiberglass chairs.
Love the zebra chair. Dislike the tables. They make the room seem cold and outdated.
Like the windows, hate the tables and the awkward space between them, which will only become more awkward when they start wandering around the room on their casters.
Least fav: those brick hard, butt-hurtin chairs at the dining table. Why do so many people use those chairs, why?
Fav: space, floors, light!
LOVE the casters on the table, least fav is the animal print chair that matches the animal print pic left of the fireplace.
