Fav-the windows…I deal w depression and one of the fastest ways for me to cope is mad amounts of natural light!!!! This is a dream!
Least-the rug colors…I love a colorful rug-but not fond of a carnival spectrum in my main area.

It’s hard for me to come up with a least favorite thing about this room but if I try really hard I guess it’s the sofa. I think I would prefer it if it was not quite such a dark brown and if it was a little more beat up.

I love the tremendous amount of light the room gets and the little children’s table and chairs, such a nice touch.

Love the sofa. I like the clean lines and artwork in the dining area. Nice contrast.

If I had to pick a dislike – maybe the clock. I really like the whole room.

Fav: The Wegner Wishbone chairs!! I’m dying to own some…
Least Fave: The much overdone George Nelson Wall Clock. I’ve never liked that piece!

    This is fun!!

    Fave: definitely the windows.
    Least fave: the rug

i really like that the rug is laid out in the right direction for that room. if they had the stripes going the other direction it would be all wrong.

Fav – the black and white wall hanging/art. It provides just the right pop without being overly distracting

Least Fav – the clock – seen it many times before so kinda boring – plus it is hung so it cuts the wall in half – would prefer a foot or two higher.

The Wegner chairs are great, the children’s dining table is adorable, I love the brick wall, Louis Poulsen light is a favorite…like it all!
Ok, except for the throw pillow, even though it compliments the rug, not a fan!!

LOVE the black and white print above the table! I agree that the clock is a little overdone.

love love the rug, the wishbone chairs, the white walls + big windows.

not so much love for the couch? i love the room altogether but the couch sticks out a bit for me. i can imagine something low profile, tufted back, sleek lines, grey? taupe? hmm. just a little bit “lighter”.

    this was fun!

I love the flowers on the table, the books on the window sill and the light above the table. Oh and of course the windows!

Don’t like the sofa or the pillow on it.

Favorite: AWESOME natural light and huge windows. How I wish I could have that!

Least Favorite: Magazine Holder next to the couch – I loathe these. Who wants to keep old magazines in a messy pile? It’s a clutter trap. I read a magazine, rip out what I want and store it, then the rest is OUT. It just looks messy.

My favorite thing in the room is the artwork on the back wall. My eye keeps going to it, even after scanning the room, I keep going back. Love it. Graphic and organic all at the same time.

The space is brilliant, love the huge windows. The clock is a bit out of place, wouldn’t mind some more green added in. Perhaps on the window sills?
Love the painting, lounge and dinosaur!

The dining area of this house is one of my most favorite inspiration images….EVER.

fave: the dining chairs and pendant…least favorite sofa.

Kristen, it was lovely meeting you last Saturday at Brass Razoo. As promised, I posted a few of the pictures I took of the shop, and even gave your pretty blog a nod, as well :)

As for your question, I adore the T-Rex that snuck in the photo ;)

I look forward to seeing you again sometime… maybe when the huuby and I finally buy a house and need it decorated? Or, you know, when I need to feed my clothing addiction.

    Cheers, Ali

I love the white and the windows, and agree that sofa would be great once worn in. I think the clock/pendant/dining chairs are all overdone, though great in their moment.

Love the huge windows and the overall simplicity. Hate the leather sofa. For some reason, I only approve of leather sofas if they are tufted.

Don’t love the dining chairs (ducking!) – sorry, just never have liked those…..
I am liking the rug, though, a bold yet appropriate choice….

Love the big windows, the dining table and the pillow in the sofa
Least favorite would be the clock

    Love the windows!
    Not loving that clock.

Ooops, I didn’t list my least favorite thing.

I think I’d say the rug.

  25. Posted July 24, 2010 at 11 am | Permalink

Love the wishbone dining chairs the most (although I love almost everything in this room).

Least fav would be the sofa. I can’t tell if it doesn’t fit, or I just don’t like it. I think maybe both. :)

    Thanks, this was fun!
