Redo the Cabinet…

I cant even remember how I stumbled upon Promise Tangeman’s blog this past year.  I just did.  I immediately liked her personal style which is a bit of vintage, quirky and chic.  Its all together fabulous!   I honestly don’t know what her proffesion is because it seems like she does everything!  Photography, fashion, graphic design and the list goes on.  (What exactly do you do Promise? Haha.)  Of course I am always interested when someone posts something related to home design so I was quite excited to see Promises latest project.  Redoing a china cabinet that she purchased at Savers for $80.  My kind of find Promise!  You can read more about the project here.  And please tour the rest of her site.  You will enjoy!

I really like this redo. The cabinet is so bright and cheery. I like the stripes in the back of the cabinet too. I’m off to check out the rest of her decor.

A couple of years a go I started to redo my china cabinet but ended up stopping because of time and lack of inspiration. I think these pictures have inspired me again to try it one more time. Thanks!

I love this! Thanks for the introduction. I have an old hutch that my parents gave me and I’ve been trying to decide what to do with it for ages now. This is some great inspiration.

Oh wow I really like that she used striped paper both vertically and horizontally and different door handles. Very clever.
