My heart aches for those in Haiti today. My thoughts and prayers are for the mothers who lost loved ones. For the children who lost a friend. For those who are still searching for family members. I cant even imagine the pain that they are all enduring.
Lets not ignore this moment. Today I’m taking part in a “Blogger Day of Action” with many other bloggers to offer our readers an opportunity to help in the relief efforts in Haiti. There are many ways to donate funds. Here are a few suggestions that I have. You can text “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10 to Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. Also go here to donate money for food and go here to see what you can do with TOMS shoes.

before i sat down to read my daily blogs, i thought to myself, how superficial and selfish can i be? looking at pretty items while people are going through this tragedy! i am cuban and live in south florida, so the cause is very close to me. i wondered if any of my daily reads would even mention the tragedy. i was very happy to see that you did and that you are doing something to help!
