I felt a bit un-organized this week.  My husband went to DC for the week and took my laptop.  I thought that I would be fine just using our desktop but quickly realized that I am lost without my good ole laptop buddy.  What’s funny is that the desktop is a million times faster and better but the laptop, he knows me and he gets me.  Ok, that’s weird!

Do you feel connected to your computer?  Could you spend a week without it?

Anyways, enough mumbo jumbo.  The image above was from Mother’s Day on Sunday.  The kids and Shane spoiled me and made me realize that I am one BLESSED mamma!!

Most people would agree that finding the perfect sofa is like finding a white tack in shag carpet.  It can be difficult, daunting, frustrating and it can hurt the wallet.  I know, cause I’ve been there.  This post won’t really help your search….sorry.  But it can help your creative juices!  The biggest factor is finding the right material that will work for you.  If you have kids, you probably want something that cleans really easy.  Anyways, good luck on your next sofa search!

These two images remind me of what joy can come out of interior design.  Of course these spaces are styled for a specific shoot but they sure inspire the reader to think outside of the box.

Here is another spot on Perfect Pallet from Cassie.  She is showing us how un-scary deep, rich colors can be.  And when pairing them with the right textures and fabrics, it becomes a beautiful thing!

That chubber of a child is me.  I had some serious meat on my body, people!!!!  That pretty lady in the background is my amazing mom.  Words cannot express that gratitude that I have towards this woman.  Because of her total commitment to her kids and her never ending prayers, I am who I am today.  There were moments where I could have chosen a path that would not have been fitting nor successful but she wouldn’t have let me.  She saw the best in me constantly and pushed me in the right direction.  I hope that I am half of the mom to my kids that she was to me!
