My current project, the cabin, has wood paneling everywhere! We wont have time to paint all of it before the deadline but some will be painted a nice snow white, like the picture above. The cabin also has great beams, as pictured.
The cabin will be done in about 3 phases because of visitors needing to use it. This first phase is kitchen, bathrooms, lighting, and some of the painting as well as the furniture. The second phase will be flooring, more painting and the rest of the lighting. And the third phase will be exterior. I will start posting pics as soon as I get some taken.

I am here today.
Above are some of the available furniture items at Brass Razoo. I have to say that my favorite piece is the garden bench on the top right. If no one buys it soon, I might need to snatch it up.

A bit ago, Victoria of sfgirlbybay and Pinterest put together a new bookmarking site, Pinterest, which is used to share and collect stuff images on the web. To launch the new site each day, over the next few weeks, 9 bloggers will share “what home means” to them. Well, its my turn. Instead of writing a story or even a paragraph, here are a few words that make home, a home.
{Family, comfort, food, warmth, flowers, joy, conversation, blankets, laughter, songs, hope, color, security, peace, noise, morning cuddles, neighbors, music, coffee, candle light, books, accomplishment, instruments, texture, phone conversations, cleanliness, grace. I love home.}

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!! xx
Have I showed you my newest redo yet?? If you have followed Simply Grove for more then a year, you know that I have changed this room MANY times. (Previously it was my office.) I have never really loved it until now! There is something about it that is so not me but so me. I refer to it as the poker room even though we don’t even play poker. It is a woodsier room which is stepping out for me. The chandelier modernizes it and the sheepskin throws soften the harsh woods. The Bourgie lamp adds a bit of glam and the framed painting brings the wilderness indoors. What do you think??

My little princess, super hero, lady, rockstar (everything she calls herself) turns 4 today. I will be heading to the store at some point to purchase her long awaited bike. It was between a princess bike and a barbie bike and of course Cinderella totally won.
I love you Eden Jo! You have totally changed my life.

The last couple days I have been ferociously doing some landscaping and fixing up our yard and porch. This set from gardenhouse completely inspires me!

If you follow me on twitter, (which you should) you saw my twitter yesterday about redoing a cabin in Cascade Idaho. Cascade is a little town north of Boise surrounded by gorgeous trees and lakes. It is in a very scenic area of Idaho with lots of outdoor activities available. We are taking the cabin from 1990 country to a little modern and a little Scandinavian. I am so excited to be working on this project. My husband is doing most of the demo. (I guess you could say that he is my official design partner.) Above are a few images that inspire me for this project.
