Friday, February 20th, 2009Take a look….
Wednesday, February 18th, 2009This next Take A Look is LeAnn Stephenson’s home. She is the brains behind The Vintage Laundry. Her eye for color, texture and great vintage pieces shows that she knows what she is doing and she is not afraid to do it. She is inspired by designers like Phillippe Starck, Jonathan Adler and Trina Turk. Most of her furnishings and lighting are vintage finds that have been re-worked. She feels owning a vintage boutique helps because she can rationalize purchasing multiples of things like chandeliers or droves of chairs. She find things at flea markets, estate sales, thrift shops. She even has been known to take things from the curb. Love it and love her!

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009{Style Test} Ameleah
Monday, February 16th, 2009This {Style Test} was sent in from Ameleah and I think she is some great taste! Ameleah is in the process of remodeling her bungalow. I have a feeling it is going to turn out very impressive.

Ameleah’s Style- Chic Glamor with Federalist and Traditional details.
Creative spaces that mix old with new, bold colors with pure colors and cozy textiles with trendy textiles. Making bold decisions and executing them perfectly. No detail is ignored. Rooms come out looking unfluffy. Gorgeous:)

Friday, February 13th, 2009When I spotted these images I quickly fell in love! Vivian from ish and chi has done a beautiful job with her kitchen and nursery. I mean come on. That bright circus wallpaper from Catherine Martin’s range at Porter’s Paints in the nursery is overwhelmingly lovely! I also love the antique loveseat won on Ebay.
And then there is that sleek kitchen with the pop of wallpaper in the corner. Perfect.
Now Vivian just needs to finish the rest of her house so we can drool some more!
