Its nice to be home from a 4 day get away! I missed my kids terribly and from the sound of there screams and glees, they missed us. I found a few great shops in Sun Valley that I will be blogging about soon.
Ahhhhh, home!

Ahhhhh, home!

My hubby and I are going on a mini vacation this week so I will continue blogging when I get home. Have a great week!

Swedish decorator Isabelle Halling has a fun eye for design. I love her use of color and her use of scale. Here is a taste of her portfolio.

I switch out my throw pillows very frequently. Probably to much but its the easiest way to change a room. I always like my big pieces of furniture to be nuetral and my pillows, art and accessories tend to be the color anchors of my rooms.
I found a variety of pillows for you to browse thru.

Lamps are a must have accessory and yellow is a great color of the season. Put them together and you have created an oohlala!

I just wanted to say a quick thanks to Franki Durban, writer of Life in a Venti Cup, for highlighting my blog and for the very sweet things she said! Check Franki’s blog out to see ultra stylish tips on style and design. Its fabulous!
Moroso has been around since 1952 so you know the pieces are of high quality and they will always be of great value. Moroso makes sofas, armchairs and accessories and have worked with well-known designers like Ron Arad and Marc Newson. This sofa by Marcel Wanders with its strong colors, high back, damasked pattern and squared pattern definitely caught my eye. I can picture it in an all white room….Hmmmm

Well, soon and very soon I am going to post my top 20 favorite Interior Designers of all time. (Not that my opinion counts for anything. It is still fun!) I have an idea of who will fill each spot but if you think you know of someone full of talent or unknown that would blow my socks off then send me a link!
Here is a preview of the list to come….
Pink Wallpaper (fabulous blog) just did a post about Julian Chichester so I went and checked out the site and low and behold I found THESE ITEMS! For some reason it was love at first site for all of them! The company is based out of North Carolina and has been featured in several magazines including Elle Decor and House Beautiful.

I am really into round tables and I think this one is great!

I think this sofa would be adorable in a little girls room.
Jesus Gasca introduced the Globus Chair in 1994 and it quickly became a design classic. It is used in restaurants, residential rooms, public places and most recently was installed as the seating at Santiago Calatrava’s new pavilion at the Milwaukee Art Museum. (I would love to visit there some day!) I love the curves on this chair. I think its the perfect restaurant chair! Bravo.
Sidenote- In 2002 Options Magazine said that the 3 essentials in creating a great dining experience is the Globus chair, the Milano table and the classic Arco floor lamp.
